Kurt Herrenknecht (Founder & Managing Director) 

K. Herrenknecht graduated in Biology at the University of Würzburg in 1988 and received his Ph.D. in 1992 from the University of Freiburg for his studies in the field of cell adhesion at the Max-Planck-Institute of Immunobiology.

From 1993-2003, he gained profound expertise in pre-clinical drug discovery research with Eisai London Research Laboratories Ltd., UK, and Evotec AG in Hamburg, followed by business development positions at Evotec Technologies GmbH/PerkinElmer in Hamburg until 2008.

In 2008, K. Herrrenknecht joined Zukunftsfonds Heilbronn GmbH & Co. KG, a venture capital fund, as Business Development Manager for technology and investment evaluations and in 2009, he was appointed Director Business Development with proteros biostructures, Munich, responsible for marketing and sales in D/A/CH and all of Asia.

In October 2011 K. Herrenknecht founded SciArcum Biotech Consulting.
